Two men allegedly robbed a Lubbock resident inside of their home after they refused to hand over cash, said the Lubbock Police Department.

They said it all began at around 11 a.m. Monday when the two men asked the victim for money outside of their home. Police said 15 minutes later the two men returned and rang the victim's doorbell before forcing entry and robbing the victim at gunpoint.

Police were not able to identify or arrest the two suspects, who are described as Hispanic men. The victim and location were not initially identified by police.

The victim was transported to the Covenant Emergency Room in Lubbock.
