Lubbock Police are searching for the man suspected of robbing a local convenience store on Monday evening.

At around 8:50 p.m. Monday, police were called to a robbery at the Rip Griffin convenience store near 34th Street and Quaker Avenue.

A Hispanic male wearing a black jacket walked into the store, picked out some items, and demanded cash from the store clerk. The suspect reportedly indicated that he had a gun in his pocket.

The suspect fled the store when he saw the clerk press the silent alarm button. Police have not yet located the suspect.
