Let’s Play! is Lubbock’s first-ever Ciclovia, or “bike path.” On that day, Mackenzie Park will be closed off to car traffic, creating a open and safe area for people to rides their bikes and roller skates.

Although the focus will be on bicycles, Behnke said there will be a wide variety of activities at the park that day. There will also be various demonstrations of aerobics classes offered around Lubbock, such as yoga, Zumba and kickboxing.

Let’s Play! LBK will take place Saturday, April 6th, from 11 AM to 3 PM at Mackenzie Park. For more information on Healthy Lubbock, visit their website at healthylubbock.org.
