On Monday’s edition of Lubbock’s First News, Kim de la Pena from Eventures spoke with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about an upcoming job fair this week.

Eventures will be hosting a career fair in Lubbock tomorrow at the Civic Center. Over 30 different local companies, included the Lubbock Police Department, Texas Department of Transportation, and Townsquare Media will be present

Pena recommends that job seekers bring multiple copies of their resumes and be prepared to hand them out to everyone, even if a company doesn’t have a position that they are interested in. She added that application will also be available for job seekers who do not have their resumes prepared. Pena also suggested that attendees dress professionally for the job they are interested in.

The Eventures Career Fair will take place Tuesday, April 15th from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. For more information on the job fair, visit Eventures online at eventurescf.com or visit them on Facebook.
