We now have video from the Lubbock Police Department showing an officer shooting one of two dogs that were fighting in a parking lot on September 8th. The dashcam video shows the officer pulling up on the scene where two dogs appear to be fighting and a few people have gathered to watch the dogs. The officer gets out of his vehicle and walks up to the dogs with his gun drawn. The officer motions for the crowd to move and the officer then kicks one of the dogs. The dog that was kicked then moves toward the officer or towards the other dog and that is when the officer shoots the dog. For a few seconds you see the dog kicking around dying. The other dog that was involved then comes over to look at the dying dog and the officer kicks it away.

You can see the dashcam video here.
