Texas Tech head football coach Kliff Kingsbury announced Thursday that wideout Devin Lauderdale has been suspended indefinitely.

The standout wide receiver is facing discipline for failing to uphold the Texas Tech Athletic Department Student-Athlete Expectations.

As the Red Raiders get set for this month's bowl game battle royale with SEC powerhouse LSU, #6 should be sorely missed.

This season Devin Lauderdale ranks second on the team in receptions (43) and receiving yards (639) and hauled in 4 touchdowns to boot.

Tech will share the gridiron with LSU on December 29th in Houston for the Advocare V100 Texas Bowl at NRG Stadium.

Kickoff will be at 8:10 p.m. on ESPN.
