Audrey Pena Jailed For Monday Morning Stabbing

One woman is in custody following an overnight stabbing.

Around 12:30 a.m. Monday, officers responded to a stabbing in the 2800 block of Dartmouth.

According to Lubbock Police, 31-year-old Audrey Pena reportedly stabbed 27-year-old Gabriel Pena in the left side of his body using a knife.

Gabriel Pena ran from the residence and asked someone to call EMS. He was taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries.

Audrey Pena was arrested at the scene and is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, as well as other charges. She is currently being held in the Lubbock County Jail on more than $20,000 bond.
