LPD Facebook

Police arrest three young men at a Central Lubbock party inspired by a popular movie in which teenagers get together for drinking and wild revelry.

KAMC-28 had hidden cameras at the “Project X” party held Friday night at the New Town Bar on 25th and Avenue J. A ten-dollar ticket offered unlimited alcoholic drinks and entertainment with six DJs from Dallas. Lubbock police showed up, and dozens of people who KAMC said appeared to be underage headed for exits.

Police arrested 19-year-old Issac Reyna and 21-year-old Quentin Evan for trespassing and charged a 17-year-old with possession of marijuana. The TABC will be involved in a continuing investigation.
