Adrian Deanda Jr. Charged in Saturday Shooting at Nightspot

A man suspected of shooting three people at a central Lubbock nightspot has been identified.
21-year-old Adrian Roy Deanda, Jr. is being held in the Lubbock County Jail on several charges, including felon in possession of a firearm, theft of a firearm, attempted retaliation, and now, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting serious bodily injury.
Deanda reportedly was engaged in an argument with a person at the bar, when he asked a friend for his pistol, who handed it to him. Three people were shot in the incident, which occurred around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
He fled the scene, but Lubbock police officers located Deanda’s abandoned vehicle, and then apprehended him a short time later on other charges.
The injuries of the victims were not life-threatening. Deanda is being held on $100,000 bond for the aggravated assault charge, plus bond for other charges.
