Former Lubbock County Commissioner Ysidro Gutierrez is set to kick-off his campaign for Lubbock County Commissioner Precinct 3.

KAMC News reports that the event will be hosted at the gazebo in front of the Lubbock County Courthouse at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10. Gutierrez served as commissioner for Precinct 3 from 2004 to 2008.

Gutierrez ran in the primary for Texas House District 84 in 2010 against John Frullo and Mark Griffin and in 2016 ran for Lubbock Mayor against Dan Pope, Todd Klein, and Victor Hernandez.
