After an offseason of uncertainty surrounding the Big 12 conference and their athletes playing in the fall, the conference's Board of Directors approved a fall sports plan and gave football the official go-ahead to start the season.

The official start date of the Big 12 this fall is September 26th.

Nearly immediately after that report came out, the Texas Tech Red Raiders released their upcoming 2020 schedule.

The games have been shifted and switched, though the Red Raiders kept all of their home games for the 2020 season. That means five home Big 12 games and just four on the road.

For Texas Tech, that's great news. The team has struggled to win road conference games even more than they've struggled to win home conference games.

We've already reported the Houston Baptist game in Lubbock on September 12th, so we can skip that one.

The rest of the games on the Texas Tech schedule are at least winnable. No, Texas Tech won't go 10-0. I'm not crazy or drunk, but I do think this schedule sets up for the Red Raiders to surprise some people. Especially those people that picked them to finish 9th in the conference.

Here's how Texas Tech could win each Big 12 game:
