Summer may have just kicked off in Texas, but football season isn't that far away and for Texas Tech Football fans, knowing what to wear or at least what color to wear to the first few home games is must know information.

Back when I went to Texas Tech, for most games, the crowd would wear either red, white, or black for blackout games. But now, different weeks call for fans to wear certain colors.

And it all starts on August 30 when Texas Tech faces Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

According to a press release, Texas Tech fans should wear red when attending the August 30th game when Tech hosts Arkansas Pine Bluff. Fans will be asked to wear white when the teams plays Kent State on September 6. When Texas Tech hosts Oregon State, fans who sit on the east side of the stadium along with student sections should wear white while fans who sit on the west side of the stadium should wear red. And then on October 11, when Texas Tech faces Kansas at home, all fans should wear red.
