Thief Steals From Workers at The Shack BBQ

Our friends over at The Shack BBQ in Lubbock took to social media to announce a type of theft that surprised me. Instead of someone attempting to dine and dash, which you can't do at The Shack so don't even try, or attempting to take meat overnight (again don't even try that), some thief decided to steal right from the employees.

According to the Facebook post from The Shack BBQ, someone walked in and stole the tips from the tip jar that goes directly to the hard working employees. It apparently happened when they were preparing food and no one was watching the tip jar.

But cameras were watching and hopefully they got a good look at whoever took the money.

The Shack BBQ warned other places around Lubbock to keep watch on their own tip jars so that way no one else will fall victim.

As the economy continues to suffer and prices continue to rise across the nation, theft is becoming rampant across the United States. Even in Lubbock some stores have had to put items behind plastic in order to prevent mass theft.
