Lubbock Independent School District Releases Statement
Lubbock ISD has released a statement saying that the body that was discovered on the "perimeter" of the property of Ervin Elementary School was found before the start of the school day. Hopefully that means none of the students saw the body.
Lubbock ISD also said that the school day will go on as normally as possible.
Early this morning, a deceased individual was discovered near the perimeter of Ervin Elementary School property before the start of the school day. Law enforcement and emergency medical personnel responded immediately, and the area was secured without disruption to school operations.
