
Lubbock Man Accused Of Abusing 4-Month-Old Baby Resulting in Multiple Broken Bones
A Lubbock man has turned himself in to Lynn County Officials after being accused of abusing a 4-month-old baby. According to reports, the abuse was so bad that it led to several bones being broken
20-year-old Zander Wisenburg was arrested and accused of abuse according to everythinglubbock.com and court records. Wisenburg turned himself in at the Lynn County Jail last week.
According to everythinglubbock.com, the court records say that the baby was taken to the doctor due to being sick. That's when they found at least 7 broken ribs.
After some scans, the doctor told the family the baby had fractured ribs, and to go to the emergency room. Court documents stated the baby had at least seven fractured ribs, and the injuries were consistent with someone holding the baby under his arms and squeezing. The baby was admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and a doctor confirmed the injuries were likely caused by abuse.
According to everythinglubbock.com, a family member told Lubbock Police that "if anyone hurt the baby, it was Wisenburng. A family member also told police she had seen Wisenberg "get frustrated and "lightly" shake the baby.
Wisenburg is being charged with causing injury to a child. His bond was set at $125,000.
