Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Matt and Dave to talk about his test drive of the week, car companies merging, a warning about buying from car dealerships during a crisis, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2020 Dodge Charger Scatback, one of Jerry's favorite cars. Jerry said,

This is a car that could be your family car. It could be your daily driver, because it's not like the Hellcat where every time you take off, you're burning rubber.

The car is a large 4 door with a 6.2 liter v8 engine giving it 485 horses. Jerry explained that it tops out at 175 mph, but is not as "in your face" as some of the other muscle cars out there. The car has a nice interior, lots of options, a navigation system, wide rear tires, and lots of new safety features. "This is a car I really like. I don't know for 50 grand, on today's market, what you can get that even compares to this," Jerry said.

Reynolds also talked about some stories on his website carprousa.com, including a story to beware the internet during a crisis. He explains that some new car dealers are not going to make it through this pandemic, and some will have to close. He gives the warning to those about buying a car, or who have recently bought a car when that dealership goes out of business.
