Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, stories on his website, and more.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2020 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Widebody which has 485 horses, despite not having a supercharger or turbocharger. The car does have a V8 engine, but Jerry says that the 485 horses come from pure, raw horsepower. Jerry went on to say that every year this car is re-released with new features being built onto it. This specific model allows for larger tires to be put on.

This car is the most manageable to drive that i've had. I mean, the allure of 707 horses in the Hellcat is pretty cool, but you're going to pay 25 grand for that. And this car at $57,000 with 485 horses, this car is a very good daily driver. I mean the power is there if you want it, but you don't have to use it. And with the wider tires you're not burning rubber every single time you take off.

Another feature of this car is the massive back seat, that can comfortably fit 3 adults. The car also has plenty of loaded car features and safety features. The main downside to the car is its poor gas mileage. The car gets around 12 miles to the gallon in the city and 20 on the highway. Jerry says that in town, you can just watch the gas gauge drop.

Jerry also talked about some stories on his website carprousa.com, including the 10 best and worst vehicles when it comes to resale value, cars that people get rid of after just one year, and more.
