Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Matt Martin and Steve Evans to talk about his test drive of the week, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2019 Texas Edition Expedition and Jerry started the discussion by saying that he has never really liked the Expedition due to the technology being a little lacking, the underpowered engine, and the bad gas mileage, but that after the Expedition's overhaul last year, he is now a fan. Jerry explained that the new model has a 5.3 liter ecoboost engine, 400 horses, 480 lbs of torque, 25 miles to the gallon on the highway, 9300 lbs of towing power, and a great and roomy interior.

"This has been a really enjoyable week for me driving this new expedition around. I really like the doggone thing."

It also now has some new tech, including lane monitoring, automatic parallel parking, and when you have a trailer attached, the car will account for the entire length of your vehicle for the blindspot. The car has a window sticker of just over $70,000.

The Car Pro also talked about new stories on his website carprousa.com, including a story on Kroger using self driving cars to deliver groceries. The self driving cars will drive up to your house, wait for you to get your groceries out of it, and then drive back.
