The Car Pro Test Drives the 2019 Mercedes AMG S63 Convertible
Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave King and Matt Martin to talk about his test drive of the week as well as other auto industry news.
This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2019 Mercedes AMG S63 Convertible, Mercedes largest car. Jerry started the discussion by saying,
"This car is just a rocket."
The car has a 4 liter, bi-turbo, v8 engine that puts out 603 horses, which is the same as the 2019 Mercedes AMG E63 Station Wagon that Jerry was driving last week. Jerry went on to explain that the car is very fast and also pretty, with a matte white paint. The car runs and drives great, has amazing exhaust, and a fast takeoff. Jerry drove it at 112 mph without the car struggling. Reynolds also explained that this is one of the more expensive Mercedes he's ever had at $206,000. "It's a great car. It's fun to drive. Is it worth $200,000? No. Is any car worth $200,000? No. But for a week, its awesome," Jerry said.
