Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was driving the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt. When asked if it made him feel like a kid again, Jerry said, "I've got to tell you, I was running those gears with the accelerator as hard to the floor as it would go, shifting, and yea, there were some memories of way back when. It was a ton of fun." The car has several adjustable settings such as the suspension, steering, and several drive modes. The car has a quiet mode, which makes the exhaust more quiet, which Jerry described as a good way to not wake up your neighbors, as well as a track and a drag race mode which are much louder and more powerful. The car is a manual with 480 horses, comes in green and black, and has a window sticker price of only $51,000. "I think this is a future collectable car. I really do," Jerry said.

The Car Pro also talked about his website carprousa.com. Jerry explained that studies are coming out about flooded cars, which he expected would happen after Hurricane Harvey. He says that almost half a million cars have been flooded, and he guesses that 90% of the owners are not even aware because flood damage doesn't always show immediately. He goes on to explain that CarFax is, for a limited time, doing free checks for flood damage.
