Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave King and guest host Curtis Parrish to talk about his test drive of the week, how much cars have improved, the continued craziness of the used car market, as well as other auto industry news.

This week, The Car Pro was test driving the 2021 Expedition Max, Ford's large SUV intended to compete with the likes of the Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon XL, and the Escalade. Reynolds started the discussion by saying that this week has been good for test driving, as this SUV, "drives like a dream." He explained that this car has come a long way since it was redesigned in 2018, giving it an all aluminum body much like the F150. The Expedition Max has a 10 speed transmission 3.5 liter eco boost engine, that Jerry says has surprised some people with the fact that it is able to output 400 horses, and have 9,000 lbs. of towing power. The car has everything you might expect on it, such as a panoramic moonroof, and 22 inch wheels. On top of this, the car has plenty of room with its 3rd row seat, a bench instead of a middle captains chair making the car fit 8 people, and an amazing amount of cargo room in the back. Jerry said,

All in all, very enjoyable SUV.

The 2021 Expedition Max has a window sticker price of $73,000.

The Car Pro also talked about several stories on his website carprousa.com, such as a story on Famous Vehicles Owned by Celebrities From Las Vegas to be Sold at the Barrett-Jackson, as well as a story on the Continued Spike in Used Car Value, which astounds Jerry. He says if you've got a used car, that it is worth a ton right now, and that now would be a good time if you're thinking of doing a trade-in.
