Texas Tech’s Kyle Tengler – Wildflowers Are Not Just Nice on the Side of the Road [INTERVIEW]
Kyle Tengler with the Texas Tech Plant and Soil Sciences Department joined Lubbock's First News Wednesday (July 15) to talk about wildflower research.
"We drive all over the place looking for really interesting plants that are just growing wild on their own," said Tengler. "We'll collect seed from those, we'll grow those out, we'll select interesting characteristics out of that and look for things that would look nice in a landscape and not just nice on the side of the road."
