Texas Tech Regent John Walker to Speak at Roundtable Series

Texas Tech’s newly appointed regent will give a talk at a Rawls College of Business speaker series.

Texas Tech Board of Regents Member John Walker will speak about the oil and gas industry at the Chief Executives’ Roundtable Speaker Series this Wednesday.

Walker, the president and CEO of EnerVest Ltd. Is the past chairman of the Independent Petroleum Association of America, a member of the National Petroleum Council, and a past board member of the Natural Gas Council. He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech and an MBA from New York University.

The Roundtable Speaker Series will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Valley of Lubbock Scottish Rite, located at 1101 70^th Street.
