Texas Governor Rick Perry recently appointed six members to the Texas Emerging Technology Advisory Committee; among them is a past vice chancellor of Research and Commercialization for the Texas Tech University System.
The University rose in the rankings of the 2015 U.S. News & World Report college and graduate school rankings and The Rawls College of Business was ranked third nationally in College Atlas’ A-List: Best Business Schools 2015 rankings.
Texas Tech University will host an annual School of Banking event this month. The 41st annual School of Banking Event, Educating Tomorrow’s Banking Leaders Today, will feature speaker Gayle Earls, former president and CEO of The Independent Bankers Bank and current Chairman of the Board of AccessBank Texas, along with Texas Tech Chancellor Emeritus Kent Hance.
Lance Nail comes to Texas Tech from the University of Southern Mississippi, where he served as the dean of the USM College of Business since July 2008.
