Texas Tech Football will face the Baylor Bears in Waco on October 7th and now we know what time the teams will kickoff. Texas Tech Football announced on Monday that the Red Raiders and the Bears will kick at 7 p.m. from McLane Stadium in Waco.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 according a press release. For Texas Tech, the night game in Waco will be the fourth night game so far this season. It will also means the game against Baylor in Waco will be Texas Tech's second road night game.

As Texas Tech points out, the game between Texas Tech and Baylor is one of the longest running rivalries in the Big 12.

The series with Baylor represents one of the longest-running rivalries in the Big 12 as the two schools have met annually since 1956 dating back to their time in the Southwest Conference. This will be the 82nd all-time meeting between the two schools and the 32nd to take place in Waco. The Red Raiders are only 11-20 all-time in Waco but an impressive 6-2 in road games during the Big 12 era.

This weekend, Texas Tech will face Houston at 2:30 p.m. in Lubbock.
