There is a new millionaire in Texas.
A West Texas resident who hit it big while playing a scratch ticket from the Texas Lottery has claimed a massive prize.
Big Spring Resident Wins $5 Million Dollars
The winner, who so far as remained anonymous, purchased the winning scratch off ticket in Big Spring, Texas which is located about 40 miles northeast of Midland. The winning ticket was sold at Uncle's #6377 at 7011 N. Service Road in Big Spring 79720.
According to MySa.com, the lottery game that the resident won from has prizes that range from $200 to $5 million as the top prize. This is the second top prize of $5 million that has been won in this particular ticket series.
Texas Lottery Continues For Now
The Texas Lottery is still operating in Texas for now as Texas lawmakers debate the future of the Texas Lottery.

According to MySa.com, the Texas Lottery has brought in nearly $41 billion in revenue for the State of Texas and over $92 billion in prize winnings.
