Several days after withdrawing funding from Planned Parenthood, Susan G. Komen for the Cure has announced that the organization is reversing its decision. Tuesday the charity announced that they would no longer provide grant money to Planned Parenthood in light of a government probe into the organization that, among other things, funds abortions.

Komen released a statement yesterday apologizing for the decision, saying they don’t want the public to doubt their commitment to saving women’s lives. "We will continue to fund existing grants, including those of Planned Parenthood, and preserve their eligibility to apply for future grants.” The organization said in the future, government issues will not invalidate a group’s eligibility for grants.
