South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center’s 30th Anniversary Fundraiser
Tuesday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin Executive Director Gail Barnes from the South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center joined Dave and Matt to talk about the Center's upcoming 30th anniversary fundraiser.
The South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is a non-profit organization located at 3308 95th St and is supported by donors and volunteers. The center takes in over 3164 different species. "We take all native wildlife species, from songbirds, to reptiles, to raptors, to mammals, to water fouls," Gail explained.
This Thursday, April 5th, they will be holding their 30th anniversary fundraiser at the Texas Tech Frazier Alumni Pavilion, right across from Jones Stadium. The event will take place from 5:30-8 with a ticket price of $50. Barnes explained that there will be a band, a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, and a chance to meet the volunteers and interns.
