Colleges around the country are figuring out what semesters and classes will look like for this upcoming 2020 fall semester, and South Plains College is no different.

Dane Dewbre with South Plains College joined The Chad Hasty Show recently to discuss the South Plains College experience and what the school is doing during the coronavirus pandemic.

Dewbre told KFYO that right now classes are online, and that for Summer II, some students will go back to having some classed in the classroom and online. The big change will happen this fall semester, when South Plains College welcomes students back on campus.

Dewbre said that SPC is still figuring out all the particulars, but that the goal is to have students back in a safe and responsible manner. He also talked about the benefits of South Plains College and the types of classes that are available. Many of the credits offered at the school can be transferred to a four-year university like Texas Tech, Dewbre noted.
