On Tuesday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Lubbock County Sheriff Kelly Rowe joined Chad in the KFYO studio to discuss the state of law enforcement in Lubbock County.

Rowe and Hasty talked about many issues, including the budget for the county, the announced departure of Lubbock Police Chief Greg Stevens, crime, illegal immigration, and more.

Asked if the county jail sees a large number of arrested illegal immigrants coming into the facility, Rowe responded:

Absolutely, rather significant numbers in fact...What's really amazed me about that is the number of countries [of origin] we've seen, and what some of those countries are: China, Kazakhstan, a multitude of different African counties, Central Europe...Mexico, Central America, the numbers have been significant.
