Texas DPS Makes Arrest from Top 10 Most Wanted List
According to the latest news from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), a criminal illegal immigrant who was on the top 10 most wanted list in Texas for sexual assault, among other charges, was recently captured.
DPS Most Wanted Arrest
On Sunday, March 2, 37-year-old Clarence Enyi Mfor was taken into custody by DPS agents in San Antonio. Mfor had been wanted since January of 2025 for sexual assault out of Bexar County.
This wasn't Mfor's first run-in with the law, however. Back in 2019, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested him in California for alien inadmissibility. THEN, in 2023, he was arrested on two separate occasions. Once for assault on a family member, and once after failing to produce an immigration visa, Texas DPS stated.
He was released shortly after in 2023 from the detention facility he was sent to.
Mfor's most wanted post on the DPS website indicates that he received a total of four separate charges:
- Sexual assault
- Assault causes bodily injury family member
- Alien inadmissibility
- Immigration without an immigration visa
The $3,000 reward was not given to the tipster since they did not submit a tip through the proper protocol from Texas Crime Stoppers.
