Texas DPS Makes Arrest from Top 10 Most Wanted List

The Bexar County criminal case that was the basis for that arrest was dismissed on August 13, 2025, with the prosecution citing insufficient evidence. There was no conviction. In early 2025, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced that a man who had been on the Texas Top 10 Most Wanted list was captured in San Antonio.

The arrest stemmed from a Bexar County case. That case was later dismissed on August 13, 2025, with the prosecution citing insufficient evidence. There was no conviction.

DPS maintains its Top 10 Most Wanted lists — covering fugitives, sex offenders, and others — to help locate wanted individuals. Being placed on a most-wanted list reflects an active warrant at the time and is not a determination of guilt.
