A Shallowater man who pleaded Guilty back in July for downloading child pornography has been sentenced.

Ruben Cuellar, 42, was sentenced to 188 months in jail along with 10 years of supervised release. Cuellar was arrested back in March after Federal agents say he collected the child porn and making the images available on peer-to-peer computer software.

Cuellar plead ‘Guilty’ to the charges back on July 22nd.

Undercover Lubbock police officers found that Cuellar had downloaded child pornography on the internet of children as young as six-years-old using the peer-to-peer sharing program Limewire.
