Reward for Info on Lubbock Murder Increased
The reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of suspects involved in the murder of 20-year-old Tyshaun Bates has been increased to $10,000.
Lubbock Police officers responded to reports of shots fired at the Lubbock Square Apartments in the 4600 block of 50th Street back on April 10th.
According to an LPD News release, it appears 2 black men entered the apartment and got into an altercation with Bates. At some point during the altercation, one of the men shot Bates.
Bates was later pronounced deceased at a hospital.
Kerby and Wade Law Offices has dedicated an additional $5,000 to the original reward, bringing the total possible reward up to $10,000.
