A suspect in a Lubbock shooting is currently in police custody. The Lubbock Police Department was dispatched to the 1300 block of 35th street at 3 a.m. Saturday, February 11.

At the scene police discovered the body of 38-year-old Clifton Holman who had been injured due to multiple gunshot wounds. Holman was transported to University Medical Center for his life threatening injuries, he was later declared deceased. KAMC news reported that police stated an altercation had occurred at a local business in the area that was actually being used to operate as an illegal after-hours club.

Investigators with the Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit had originally taken to social media to ask for the public's help in their investigation locating a possible suspect. 50-year-old Patrick Bradley was a person of interest and accused of having a part in the shooting that led to the death of Holman. After being wanted by Lubbock police for more than 24 hours Bradley finally gave himself over to authorities at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15.

Bradley was arrested and charged with two separate felony charges of Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. As per the publishing of this article Bradley remains in custody at the Lubbock County Detention Center on those two felony charges with a combined bond total of $330,000.
