Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, District 83 Representative Dustin Burrows joined the broadcast to talk about news from the election front and the Texas Legislature.

Burrows and Hasty discussed Burrow's forecast for the election and expectation that the Texas House will remain in Republican control, the effect Joe Biden's comments on the oil industry are having in the state, as well as the Texas House speaker race, COIVD 19 rollbacks, and his relationship and disagreements with Lubbock Mayor Dan Pope on policy issues.

Burrows said, while speaking about efforts to end abortion in Texas and his own disagreement with the opinion issued by a law firm regarding the proposed ordinance to make Lubbock a sanctuary city for the unborn, "We will continue, in the Texas Legislature, to do all we can, and do everything possible to end abortions in Texas."
