
Police Investigating Two Crime Scenes in Lubbock County Murder Case
New details have surfaced involving the murder of Antonio Garcia III last week in Lubbock County.
Just before 6 a.m. on Friday, September 11, Antonio Garcia’s Gray 2012 Nissan Altima was found burning on the 4300 block of East 2nd Street.
The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office now believes the vehicle was driven to it's final destination and set on fire by a person in connection with Garcia's murder.
Police later found Garcia ten miles south of the burning car, near the intersection of FM 1585 and County Road 2700. Garcia was dead, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds.
The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office is now investigating both crime scenes as part of this case.
