Patrick Svitek Says Texas Democrats Hopeful For 2018 [INTERVIEW]
Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Patrick Svitek from the Texas Tribune joined the show to talk about the latest news for Texas including the 85th Texas Legislature and more.
Sviteck and Hasty discussed the state's budget battles, the trial involving Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, and the state Democrat's outlook for near future elections.
When asked about Texas Democrat strategies for the 2018 midterm elections, Svitek began his reply saying, "They're cautiously optimistic I'd say that, based on the way that the Donald Trump presidency has started."
