One Suffers Serious Injuries After Major Accident in Lubbock

A major accident happened in the 500 block of Regis Street in Lubbock just after 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 5th.

It appears that a 5th wheel being towed by a pickup truck was rear-ended by an SUV. One person that suffered serious injuries was still trapped in a vehicle at 4:30 p.m., according to KAMC News.

East and westbound traffic was being diverted to side streets while crews were on scene.

The identity of the victim and their condition remains unknown.
