33-Year-Old Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Lubbock, Suspect Unknown

A 33-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Lubbock while he was trying to cross the street.
According to a press release from the Lubbock Police Department, 33-year-old Jamil Wilson was trying to cross the eastbound lanes in the 2100 block of the Marsha Sharp Freeway when he was struck by a vehicle. This was at around 1:12 a.m. the morning of Tuesday, November 29th.
Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle involved fled the scene immediately after the incident, and the driver has not yet been identified. This investigation is ongoing.
