One Person Injured In Lubbock Shooting On Tuesday

At around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a shots fired call came into Lubbock County. The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office dispatched deputies to the scene located in the 1800 block of 11th Street.

When Lubbock County Sheriff Deputies arrived on scene they located 32-year-old Tomas Rivera with a gun-shot wound to the leg. The victim was reportedly transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injuries.

According to a press release from the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, the suspect in the shooting fled the scene before Lubbock County Sheriff Deputies arrived on scene.

The investigation into the shooting and there whereabouts of the suspect remain ongoing.
