One Injured in Southeast Lubbock Crash

Emergency crews responded to the scene of a two vehicle accident between a semi-truck and a passenger car Sunday (April 3) in Southeast Lubbock.

The accident occurred around 6:40 p.m. on East Slaton Highway and MLK Jr. Boulevard.

Initial reports indicate the car was lodged underneath the semi's trailer.

One person was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.

Police continue to investigate.
