Reviews Provide Scary Insight Into a Notorious Crime-Ridden Lubbock Hotel
I don't know about you, but when I travel, I like to check out the reviews of the hotel that I may stay at. Of course, you have to be careful with reviews. Most of the people who post reviews are usually unhappy and have taken to the web to voice their displeasure. Happy customers tend to just be happy and go about their day.
So recently I decided to take a look at the reviews of one of Lubbock's most notorious crime-ridden hotels, and the reviews did not disappoint.

Lubbock's Executive Inn Hotel, Notorious for Crime
The Executive Inn in Lubbock, according to their website "provides top-notch hotel accommodations to travelers staying in Lubbock, TX". But a quick google search shows that the Executive Inn may only be "top notch" for criminals. In March of 2025, LubbockLights.com reported that the City of Lubbock was thinking about taking legal action to shut down the hotel. Why? Crime. And lots of it. According to the report, between May 1 of 2024 and February 20, Lubbock Police were called to the Executive in 435 times.
A search of Google will bring up countless stories about crime at the Executive Inn including a story from EverythingLubbock.com from August 22 about a shooting. And KFYO reported yesterday about a woman who allegedly shot a man in the head at the hotel.

Google Reviews Reveal What Really Goes On at the Executive Inn in Lubbock
Crime, drugs, shootings, fights, theses and more are all documented in news stories and reviews left behind on Google.
One reviewer said the Executive Inn was "riddled with crime and filth.
Riddled wirh crime and filth. Prostitution and drug abuse run rampant at this location. DPS and Texas Rangers along with Vice gang units always have a bust or sting operation going on. Seems like it should be razed bit unfortunately, some cops like to take that cream.
Another user said simply, "Bad place to stay don't go there".
One user said "drugs everywhere." Another posted "Too loud outside at night too many drug deals I pulled up and they Asked if I wanted meth".
And to sum it up one user simply stated "Really scary place to live for a normal person".
So if you are traveling or know people who are traveling, you may want to tell them there are other places to stay than one of the most notorious hotels in Lubbock.
