Former Texas Tech basketball player Matt Mooney has postponed his annual kids basketball camp due to COVID-19 concerns.

According to a post on Twitter, Mooney says that recent restrictions put in place across the state due to COVID-19 have forced him to postpone the basketball camp that would have taken place July 7th through July 9th at the Apex Event Center.

Mooney played for 2 seasons as a Red Raider and helped lead the team to the 2019 NCAA Championship game. Earlier in 2020, he signed a contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers but has not played since the NBA halted the season.
