Mackowiak Shares Optimism On Tax Reform Bill’s Passage This Week [INTERVIEW]
Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, political analyst and Washington Times columnist Matt Mackowiak joined Chad to discuss the continuing debate over tax reform legislation, and several other hot topics from Washington, D.C.
During the interview, while detailing the prospects of tax reform and what could undermine it's passage, Mackowiak said,
Keep in mind, three Republican Senators can block this, and if you don't have McCain, if [Bob] Corker flips, and if [Susan] Collins won't vote yes, that's a path to not passing it in the Senate. Again, I think there's enough momentum, they're going to find a way to do it, they know the clock is ticking. But it's one to watch, certainly this week.
Mackowiak and Hasty discussed several other topics, including Senator John McCain's cancer diagnosis and what it could mean for the GOP and the nation.
