Lubbock’s Mugshot Monday: 65 People Remain in the Lubbock County Detention Center
It has recently rained in Lubbock and I am sad the clouds are gone but there is hope that we get a gloomy and foggy few days while in October. I am not sure if it has to do with the weather but there seemed to be less people arrested when it rains so we might have to keep an eye out to see if that true. As fall festivals across the Hub City are getting started and you gear up for popcorn balls and caramel apples but make sure to enjoy all the fun events like At'l Do Farms Corn Maze and picking a pumpkin to carve for the annual Pumpkin Trail.
Since it is a little bit later than usual for our Mugshot Monday I suggest getting some boiled pumpkin seasoned with cinnamon and piloncillo (Mexican brown sugar) and eating it with a bowl of milk as a snack. My mom, La Doña, loves this delicacy that is popular in parts of Mexico and Texas and has enjoyed it since she was a girl back in the early 1950's. I suggest one of those during a cold fall rainy any day with a Jean-Claude Van Damme movie, also my moms favorite actor. We now have to shift our focus away from the Muscles from Brussels and focus on the arrestees.
These 66 mugshots are of people who were arrested during the week of October 10th through October 16th and held in the Lubbock County Detention Center. Everyone featured is innocent until proven guilty and have only been charged with at least one felony, be it State Jail Felony, Third Degree Felony, Second Degree Felony, First Degree Felony, a Capital Felony or were arrested and held on a Fugitive Warrant or Detainer, a United States Marshall Remand, or Immigration Customs Enforcement Detainer.
