South Loop 289

Bridge deck work on Loop 289 near Chapel Hill between East Erskine Street and East 4th Street has reduced all traffic to just one lane. All drivers traveling in the north and southbound lanes should expect delays or explore alternate routes to their destinations.

FM 1585 South Lubbock

This project has been going on for months as it takes up a pretty sizeable portion of FM 1585 and 130th Street. TxDOT labels this as just general construction, but all drivers need to be advised that delays should be expected anywhere along the swathe of road that this construction project covers.

From Frankford Avenue to Avenue P, road construction spans across several neighborhoods and is expected to end on October 31. Motorists should watch for road workers directing traffic along east and westbound lanes.
