Lubbock Police Searching for Suspect Involved in North Lubbock Shooting
Lubbock Police are searching for a suspect alleged to have shot a victim early Friday morning.
According to Lubbock Police, at 3 a.m. on June 27, 2014, the suspect and victim met at the corner of 3rd Street and Elkhart Avenue.
The suspect drew a weapon and shot the suspect in the left thigh after a struggle involving personal property of the shooting victim. The victim ran to a friend’s house and was transported privately to Covenant Medical Center where medical personnel contacted Lubbock Police.
The suspect was described as a black male approximately 5’6” to 5’8” and weighing 160-170 pounds. The suspect was seen driving a light-blue Ford Focus.
