Lubbock police are investigating an alleged attempted robbery that occurred on Monday. According to a police report, the attempted robbery took place Monday in the 5900 block of Ursuline Street.

The victim tells police a truck pulled up to the back of a shop located behind their house and that at least five suspects tried to steal a four-wheeler.

The victim fired a warning shot into the air but as the suspects tried to flee the scene in their truck, it got stuck and they had to flee on foot.

One of the suspects reportedly fired multiple shots at the victim, and the victim returned fire. No injuries have been reported.
