Four people were arrested Sunday morning after a burglary.

Lubbock Police were called to a residence near 24th Street and Avenue U around 1 a.m. Sunday, and stopped a vehicle that was leaving the scene.

Officers arrested four people and reportedly found some stolen items in the vehicle.

Those arrested were 44-year-old Jerry Pena, 39-year-old Nelda Pena, 42-year-old Jimmy Gaitan, and 22-year-old Jerry Viduarre. Nelda Pena faces other charges related to speeding, false identification, issuance of a bad check, and driving without liability insurance as well.

The group was charged with burglary of a habitation. Jerry Pena, Nelda Pena, and Gaitan are being held in the Lubbock County Jail on $10,000 bail. Viduarre is the only one who has posted bail as of 6 p.m. Monday.
