A Lubbock man was arrested at the start of the week following previous reports of stalking. The Lubbock Police Department was dispatched to the 5000 block of Orlando Avenue Monday, February 27, when they received a call about a disturbance in the area.

KAMC news reports that at the scene police discovered 26-year-old Nicholas Cassity after more than seven reports against him previously by that same victim. This was not the first incident in which police were called to the area as Cassity is accused of causing damages to the victims property as he stalked the caller/victim for a little more than two months.

When Lubbock police arrived they found Cassity and the victim with Cassity who sustaining multiple injuries, especially to his face, showing physical signs that an altercation between both parties occurred before police arrived. Emergency Medical staff on the scene did offer treatment to Cassity who had a bloody nose, face swelling, and a deep cut on his lip. Cassity in the end did refuse all medical treatment offered to him and after a thorough examination was cleared to be arrested by local law enforcement.
